Born in the year when “19 had two ciphers after it,” (1900) Bill Godfrey lived the life of a Vermont Renaissance man- with a diversity of careers that filled his time “off the dole”- and auctioneer, undertakes, dairyman, woodsman, vegetable farmer, maker of maple candy, ladder builder, and finally a basket weaver. Bill’s story illustrates his desire to remain engaged with life, always living to the fullest, resulting in “never a boring day.”
