John Purington brought his family to live on Nash Island in 1916, when he became the keeper of the Nash Island light. He and his wife and their nine children would live there for the next 19 years. Jenny Purington Cirone was one of those children, and this is the story of her childhood and continued dedication to this special island off the downeast village of Addison, Maine.
